you're not alone....

a new photo

new art/visual diary pages

new music to love by Saosin and The Academy is...
a new hope
new wishes
new optimism
a new dress
new beauty care products, my skin feels fresh and moisturised from the clairns samples I got...
and a new found perspective on love and life.

"Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain"

I just need to let it go, and let it be, and if it will be, it will be, if not - then so be it...

random bits and pieces

Haven’t blogged in a while, forgive me!!

*I took lots of photo’s on the weekend, some scrappy some just everyday stuff, had my SIL’s baby shower, out for breakfast for fathers day with my boyfriends family, felt his sisters baby kick! (so cool)
*I cooked banana muffins
*I made fathers day cards
*I made congratulations cards
*I scrapped my page/s in Skye’s CJ
*I did the grocery’s
*I cleaned the house top to bottom
*I’ve been to the gym the last 2 nights – and now I’m paying for it (I’m so sore!!)
*I’ve been thinking about a new car (as I will be travelling to and from Geelong shortly for work) – thinking about a Holden ‘viva’/’barina’, Toyota ‘Yaris’ or even a Mitsubishi ‘colt’……. Have to think about new car versus slightly older car with more k’s….but I want a new one, as they have a longer warranty, and what’s the point in getting an 07/08 car with more k’s when I can get a NEW one for a couple of grand more, and have more warranty? Mum and dad are worried that I’ll make an impulsive decision, but I’m a researcher and thinker at heart and it’s my money… so the next few months will be focused on car buying/organizing etc.
*Thanks to Rebecca for her lovely comments on her blog – I can’t wait to get started at Kaisercraft – and getting to meet her and the rest of the team!!
*That’s all for now, I’ll share my pics/ scrapping creations as soon as I can!!

thank you

Just a quick post today….
Firstly thank you for your lovely comments on my last post – and I’m most excited about my new job! When I had my interview, I met one of the ‘resident’ scrappers at Kaisercraft, Mel – unbeknown to me at the time, and until a light bulb flicked on in my head on the way home – was ‘SM Master’ and scrapper extraordinaire Mellissa Kennedy – OMG! I couldn’t believe it….so I checked out her blog, and saw some of the AMAZING things I get to look forward to in working at Kaisercraft!

Ok so I said I would share some ‘scrapping’, here are two 21st cards I made for my friends and a phone frame for one of them – she loved it!!

Here are a few pics from the 21st I went to in Geelong - at Mr Hyde, the coolest bar in Geelong, they have the best cocktails and drinks, I had a great drink called 'creamy soda' and a mocktail that had mango, pineapple juice, honey and lemon in it - so yummy!!

Here are a couple of pics from when my little brother and his G/F came to stay last weekend also – out for tea.

Lastly, congratulations to all those lovely ladies who got into the Top 50 masters call – now is the time I wish I had of ‘bit the bullet’ and completed my masters entry, oh well, there’s always next year!!

lots of news to share

Hey guys - sorry for the lack of blogging...
been super busy:
I had my brother and his g/f visit for the weekend, a joint 21st in Geelong, my art short course on a Wednesday is going well - I’m thinking of designing some craft related products, trying to go the gym (or at least go for walks/runs, a tiny bit of scrapping, I finished of my “sister-in-law’s” baby album – can’t wait to give it to her this weekend, going to the local footy, and lots of other things, just housework, catching up with mates…and job interviews…

Yes you read right. I know I want to work in communications/pr/marketing – however I just don’t think working in a consultancy is for me – I feel I lack stimulation, passion and creativity in my current job and have been bored and unhappy for quite a while. Which is why I initially enrolled in my ‘creative graphic design’ short course….

So I decided to write to Kaisercraft to express my interest in working there, which two days later resulted in a phone call to set up and interview – one week later, and an interview down and I’ve just landed myself a new job at Kaisercraft working in marketing!! WOOP for me – I’m so damn excited about the possibilities!! It is truly my dream job! I start on the 29th September..

Job stuff aside, I do have a few things to share with you:
- photos from the weekend;
- the complete baby album I’ve been working on; and
- maybe by the time I post again I would have done some scrapping – yes Kate I know I’m EXTREMELY late with our ATC swap (please forgive me). Promise I’ll get them done as SOON as I can!

xoxoxo hope u all are cool as cats. xx
